It almost seems like a no-brainer to have someone in your life who can be objective, give you a plan of action, hold you accountable, and cheer you on in the process.  Right?

I have noticed people who are in the top of their field have coaches of some sort.  The best athletes in the world still get coached, even if they are already great.

I was lucky enough to have a session with Joseph Faust, Life Coach extraordinaire.   Joseph has a very warm and welcoming personality.  You definitely get the sense that he is there for you completely.

I had a few a-ha moments in the session and a few much needed reminders about living fully.  Mostly what I got out of the session was a strategy.  And it wasn’t like a cheesy, pre-packaged, “here’s whatcha gotta do” sort of thing.  It really felt organic to my needs, which we uncovered as the session progressed.

I wasn’t quite sure how a Life Coach would actually be different than therapy, or going to a good friend for advice.  He seemed to fall somewhere in between.  Joseph was able to analyze my situation from a detached yet caring perspective.  He asked eye opening questions and gave me a concrete plan and vision for what I truly wanted and how I was going to get there.  I can now see how regular coaching sessions would create more freedom and improve the quality of all aspects of my life.

One thing he said that really resonated with me was this: love is the space in which someone is allowed to change.

Joseph definitely provided that space.
