I understand what it’s like to feel disconnected. Like there is this veil separating you from your magic. Fortunately, there are many ways for us to reconnect to higher selves. Herkimer Diamonds help us realize that there is nothing separating us, that everything we seek is within us already.

Herkimer Diamonds come from Herkimer, New York. I read that they are close to five hundred million years old (could that really be true??). Herkimer’s are small, double terminated (that means both sides are pointy) pieces of quartz, not diamonds. They are the most powerful of all quartz crystals. Herkimers are known as attunement stones. That means that they connect us. You can use them to connect to another person, or even your Guides.

Opening your third eye chakra and crown chakra will help you attune to your psychic abilities as well as to Source. Herkimer Diamonds help you do just that.

Ways to Use Herkimer Diamonds

  1. I have used this stone to aid relationships. In a session with couples, I will have them hold hands with this stone in between. Couples reported feeling lighter, closer, and more loving overall.

  2. You can program your Herkimer to bring peace, love, light, compassion into your space.
  3. Hold your Herkimer (either below your belly button, in your left hand, or on your third eye) and set the intention to connect with your Guides, the Divine, Angels, Ascended Masters, or any other beings of light.

Contraindications

Herkimer Diamonds amplify all energy, so it’s not necessarily a stone you want to wear all the time. They can also as attune to your surroundings, which can be information overload. It is a stone to be used with clear intention so you aren’t amplifying anything unwanted. That’s not to say that you can’t have them in your space. They are a lovely addition to your space, especially when they are near other crystals because they magnify the energies of those crystals.
